Key responsibilities

• Garment Construction: Assemble, stitch, and finish clothing items from patterns or design sketches using industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.

• Pattern Cutting: Cut fabric accurately according to technical specifications and size grades.

• Sample Making: Collaborate with the design team to create first samples and prototypes for new collections.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished garments for loose threads, uneven seams, or structural flaws to maintain brand quality.

• Alterations: Modify and adjust sample sizes or custom client pieces for optimal fit.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress, ideally within a commercial fashion studio or apparel manufacturing environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Robust command of industrial sewing machines, overlockers, and hand-finishing methods.

• Fabric Knowledge: Deep understanding of how to handle various textiles, including delicate silks, knits, and structured wovens.

• Attention to Detail: High precision in measuring, cutting, and stitching to meet luxury or ready-to-wear standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
