About The Role

We are looking for a motivated System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Intern who is interested in building a career in System Administration, Networking, Server Management and IT Infrastructure.

The intern will work with the IT/Infrastructure team and gain practical experience in managing laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, internet connectivity, user accounts, backups and day-to-day IT support.

Based on performance during the internship, the candidate may be considered for a full time System Administrator / IT Infrastructure position.

Key Responsibilities

Laptop &

- Desktop Support

- Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops and desktops.
- Install and maintain Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and peripheral issues.
- Configure applications, drivers, antivirus and system updates.
- Provide technical support to employees.
- Maintain IT asset and laptop allocation records.

Networking
- Support office LAN, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
- Understand TCP/IP, IP addressing, DNS and DHCP.
- Assist with routers, switches and access points.




- Troubleshoot network connectivity using Ping, Traceroute and other basic tools.
- Assist with firewall and VPN-related issues.
- Coordinate with ISP and network vendors when required.

Server Administration
- Assist with Windows and Linux server administration.
- Monitor server CPU, memory, storage and availability.
- Assist with server updates, patching and configuration.
- Manage basic user accounts, permissions and shared folders.
- Assist in troubleshooting server issues and reviewing logs.

Backup &
- IT Security

- Assist with regular system and server backups.
- Monitor backup status and report failures.
- Support basic backup and restore activities.
- Assist with antivirus and endpoint security.
- Follow company IT security and access-control policies.

IT Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and other IT assets.
- Track asset allocation, return and maintenance.
- Maintain software and license records.
- Keep IT infrastructure documentation updated.

Technical Support
- Handle day-to-day employee IT support requests.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Escalate complex problems to senior infrastructure team members.




- Document incidents and resolutions.

Internship &
- Conversion

Internship Duration: 6 Months

Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000, based on skills and interview performance

Working Days: Monday to Saturday, Alternate Saturdays Off
