Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sushi Chef role based in Hyderabad.

The Sushi

Chef will prepare a variety of sushi and Japanese dishes, including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls, while maintaining portion consistency and presentation standards. Daily responsibilities include selecting and handling fresh seafood, cooking rice and other components, preparing sauces and accompaniments, and ensuring food is plated accurately and promptly. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene guidelines,



and coordinating with kitchen and service teams to deliver a smooth dining experience.

The Sushi

Chef will also assist with inventory checks, ingredient preparation, and may contribute ideas for menu specials and improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, with a focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine.
- Knowledge of seafood selection, handling, and storage, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Solid culinary skills, including knife skills, portioning, and plating techniques.
- Commitment to hygiene and food safety standards, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in a professional kitchen is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, follow recipes, and meet service timelines.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability for shift-based work schedules.
- Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
