Qualification

ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or any relevant technical discipline.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow the daily production plan and achieve defined production targets.
- Allocate manpower across different production activities based on operational requirements.
- Monitor worker attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Ensure workers follow standard production processes and work instructions.
- Monitor production quality and minimize rejection, rework, and process deviations.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other support functions to ensure smooth production.
- Report machine breakdowns and production-related issues to the concerned team.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and proper use of PPE on the shop floor.
- Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and 5S standards in the production area.




- Maintain daily production, manpower, quality, and shift-related records.
- Support the Production Manager in improving productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain discipline and positive working practices among shop-floor employees.
- Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate pending activities, issues, and priorities to the next shift.
- Identify operational issues and support timely corrective actions.

Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Good manpower handling and team coordination skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain production records.
- Ability to work effectively in shifts.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, safety practices, quality, and productivity will be an added advantage.
