Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in Kozhikode (Calicut).

The Student

Counselor will guide prospective students and families through study-abroad options, including countries, universities, and suitable programs aligned with their academic background and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, responding to inquiries, explaining admission and visa processes, and maintaining accurate student records.



The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for application processing, documentation, and follow-up, as well as participating in outreach activities such as seminars, events, and online sessions. The counselor will be expected to provide explicit, ethical, and supportive guidance to ensure a positive experience for every student.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Student Counseling and Education guidance for study-abroad or higher education pathways.
- Experience in Career Counseling, helping students identify suitable programs and long-term career options.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students and families.
- Relevant academic background in education, counseling, psychology, business, or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple student cases, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Comfort with using basic computer applications, CRM or counseling software, and online communication tools.
- Prior experience in overseas education consultancy or academic advising is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages such as Malayalam or Hindi is beneficial.
