Store Keeper – Steel Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our steel plant stores, ensuring proper receipt, storage, inventory control and issue of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and verify raw materials, stores, spares, consumables and other materials against PO, invoice and delivery documents.
- Prepare and maintain GRN/MRN, material receipt and issue records.
- Properly store, identify, label and maintain materials for easy retrieval.
- Issue materials to Production, Maintenance and other departments against authorised requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and ERP/Tally records.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and raise timely purchase requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, obsolete and damaged materials.
- Maintain proper records of steel plant spares, electrical items, mechanical items, lubricants, refractory, consumables and safety materials.




- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to minimise damage and wastage.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Production and Maintenance departments.
- Maintain proper documentation and support internal/statutory audits.
- Ensure the store is organised, clean and compliant with safety requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

- 10 years of experience as a Store Keeper/Store Executive, preferably in steel, metals or heavy manufacturing.
- 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma / Graduate preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP/Tally and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of inventory management and documentation.
- Experience in handling engineering spares and plant consumables will be an advantage.
- Positive numerical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a plant/manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
