Durga Flour Mills is seeking a dependable, organized Stock Manager to oversee day-to-day inventory management across our 4–5 godowns in Solan. You will be responsible for reconciling physical stock with digital records, preventing spoilage, and ensuring seamless movement of stock across storage locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Stock Auditing & Data Entry: Conduct routine physical counts of raw grains, and packaged FMCG goods; update daily stock levels in our inventory software/spreadsheets accurately.
- Multi-Godown Coordination: Travel between 2-3 local godowns in Solan to verify incoming dispatches, inter-godown transfers, and outgoing shipments.
- Shelf-Life & Expiry Management: Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols. Segregate and flag batches nearing expiry to prevent waste.
- Waste Minimization & Quality Checks: Inspect grain bags for dampness, pest infestation, bag tears, or spillage; coordinate proper fumigation and storage conditions with floor workers.

Candidate Requirements

- Industry Knowledge: Basic practical understanding of foodgrains (wheat, maize, pulses, grain quality, moisture impact,



and packaging types).
- Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and know how to ride a scooter/motorcycle for daily transit between local godowns.
- Digital Literacy: Comfortable operating a smartphone and basic computer applications (MS Excel / Google Sheets or easy Tally).
- Education & Experience: High School (10+2) or Graduate; prior experience in warehouse management, ration depots, retail grain stores, or flour mills is an advantage.
- Physical Fitness & Integrity: Ability to inspect warehouse stacks and work in office in a fast-paced environment.
