The Job
The State Head serves as the primary liaison between IEEMA and key stakeholders within the assigned State/Region. The role focuses on strengthening industry relationships, driving membership growth, representing member interests, and ensuring effective execution of IEEMAs initiatives at the regional level. The position plays a critical role in expanding IEEMAs presence, influence, and engagement across government bodies, utilities, and industry participants.
Role & responsibilities The role involves leading IEEMAs presence at the state level by driving stakeholder engagement, strengthening member relationships, and ensuring effective execution of regional initiatives. It requires close coordination with government bodies, utilities, and industry stakeholders to represent member interests, facilitate growth, and enhance IEEMA’s visibility and impact within the region.
1. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with State Ministries, utilities, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders
- Ensure regular updates and maintenance of stakeholder databases
- Act as the face of IEEMA within the assigned region
2. Membership Management
- Drive membership growth through new member acquisition
- Manage membership renewals and outstanding collections
- Conduct outreach programs and support onboarding processes
- Ensure accurate data reporting and member engagement
3. Representation & Advocacy
- Identify key issues impacting members across product divisions
- Represent and advocate member concerns at State and Central levels
- Facilitate escalation and resolution of industry-related matters

Event Coordination
- Lead participation in technical conferences, exhibitions, and industry events
- Support delegate mobilization, sponsorship acquisition, and stall bookings
- Ensure strong IEEMA visibility in regional events
5. Training Program Support
- Identify training requirements through member and stakeholder interactions
- Coordinate with internal teams or independently organize training sessions
- Promote skill development initiatives within the region
6. Chapter Meetings
- Plan and conduct 2–3 State and Regional Chapter meetings annually
- Facilitate discussions, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among members
7. Promotion & Outreach
- Promote IEEMA programs, exhibitions, and conferences
- Drive awareness for IEEMA publications, including the IEEMA Journal
- Enhance regional visibility and participation
8. Flagship Events
- Collaborate with regional teams to conceptualize and execute flagship events
- Create networking platforms and showcase IEEMA initiatives
9. Issue Resolution
- Provide timely support for resolving member and stakeholder concerns
- Ensure smooth execution of activities within the region
- Maintain high stakeholder satisfaction
