Roles & Activities
1. Program Management of TSDSI Study/Working Groups: Support one or more Study Groups (SGs)/Working Groups (WGs) of TSDSI as a Program Manager, working closely with the Group Chair/Vice Chair, Advisors, and TSDSI Leadership.
2. Program Management & Technical Support – Study Group – Networks (SGN): Provide end-to-end program management and technical coordination support to SGN, working closely with the SGN Chair, Vice Chair, Advisor, and members.
Responsibilities include: 1. Planning, Coordination & Orchestration of SGN Activities
- Plan and coordinate SGN activities, meetings, and deliverables in consultation with the Chair/Vice Chair.
- Manage face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and offline activities.
- Prepare and manage meeting agendas, minutes, and action-item trackers.
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure.
- Manage SGN communications, documentation, and repositories.
2. Member Interface & NIP/SWIP Coordination
- Serve as the operational interface for SGN members to facilitate participation and contributions before, during, and after meetings.
- Provide end-to-end coordination of New Item Proposals (NIPs) and Study & Work Item Proposals (SWIPs) .
- Facilitate member engagement, contributions, and timely submission of technical inputs.
3. End-to-End Standardisation Workflow:
- Manage the standardisation workflow under the guidance of the Advisor, Networks, including:
- Facilitate NIPs and interface with technical leads through pre-standardisation activities such as Roadmap Committee activities, workshops, events, Government memorandums, global SDO initiatives, liaison statements, etc.
- Facilitate induction, participation, and contributions of new, potential, and passive members.
- Monitor, track, and obtain feedback on technical activities and maintain document repositories.
- Manage the SGN workflow area and ensure timely updates of technical activities on the website.
- Maintain repositories for Liaison Statements and IPR Declarations.
- Coordinate the approval, issuance, publication, and maintenance of Standards and Technical Reports.
4. Coordination with Global Standards Development Organisations (SDOs):
- Coordinate TSDSI interfaces with global SDOs associated with SGN under the guidance of the Advisor, Networks, including: • End-to-end coordination of 3GPP Transpositions .
- Manage communications with 3GPP Individual Members (IMs), including meetings, updates, action-item tracking, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with global standards bodies such as 3GPP and ITU-R .
- Coordinate responses to and tracking of Liaison Statements.
- Support planning and formation of TSDSI delegations to 3GPP and ITU-R.
- Coordinate with the Operations team for delegation logistics and related support.
- Coordinate with DoT interfaces to ensure synchronisation of TSDSI and India delegations in line with the agreed strategy.
- Provide end-to-end technical coordination for global SDO meetings, including strategy and preparation.
- Manage the Global SDO Activities Portal covering registrations, submissions, trip reports, liaison statements, and other communications.
- Track various standards releases, versions, and related classifications across relevant standards bodies.
- Support the Advisor in initiatives aimed at enhancing TSDSI participation in global SDOs.
- Support MARCOM in hosting and partnering in events with global SDOs.
5. Program Management Support to TSDSI Committees:
- Provide program management and coordination support to various TSDSI committees, including R&R;, IPR, Roadmap , and other committees as assigned.
- Liaison Statement Management: Manage Liaison Statements with external organisations and maintain an effective tracker for time-bound actions, responses, and closures.
- Website & IT Support Interface: Interface with the IT Support team to define and coordinate website requirements for the effective functioning of Study Groups, including workflow areas, technical activity updates, document repositories, and related functionality.
- Technical Support for Workshops & Events: Provide technical support to the concerned Secretariat team in planning and organising workshops, technical events, and related activities in the assigned technical area.
- TSDSI Rules, Procedures, SOPs & Audits: Remain updated on TSDSI rules, regulations, policies, and working procedures. Participate in the formulation, implementation, review, and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support related audits.
- Technical Knowledge & Continuous Learning: Maintain familiarity with the technical issues, specifications, standards, technical reports, and ongoing activities of the relevant Study Groups, Working Groups, and standards bodies.
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
- Experience: Candidates with 2 years of relevant skilled experience will be preferred.
- Availability: Candidates who can join immediately upon selection .
