Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive SSIS Developer for an initial 6-month contract engagement with an immediate start. The successful candidate will support critical Operations and Finance systems, ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of data integration and ETL processes. This role requires solid expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server, and production support within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, monitor, and support existing SSIS packages and ETL workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, transformation, and loading processes.
- Support business-critical Operations and Finance applications by ensuring timely and accurate data movement.
- Develop, enhance, and optimize SSIS packages based on business requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand data requirements.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, batch processes, and data pipelines to ensure operational efficiency.
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL performance.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for integrations, ETL processes,



and support procedures.
- Participate in deployment, testing, and release activities.

Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience developing and supporting ETL solutions in production environments.
- Strong understanding of database design and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with SQL Server Agent Jobs, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views.
- Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing ETL processes.
- Familiarity with source control and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting Finance and Operations-related applications.
- Exposure to SSRS and SSAS.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or cloud-based ETL tools.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL Server and SSIS development.
- Proven experience providing application and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
