Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products and applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and automation testing, excellent understanding of QA processes, and the ability to work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- - Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, track, and manage bugs throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform API testing and validate backend functionality.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate automation frameworks and tools.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing where required.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test planning, and release activities.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring defects and work with development teams on resolution.
- Review and improve existing QA processes, testing methodologies, and documentation.
- Prepare and share test reports, defect reports, and QA status updates with relevant stakeholders.




- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to improving the teams overall testing practices.

Required Skills Qualifications

- - 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing, and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic to good knowledge of SQL/database testing.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.

Good to Have

- - Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with performance or load testing tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
