As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you will play a key role in building the autonomy software that powers these systems. You will work across navigation, localization, motion planning, manipulation, sensor fusion, simulation, and robot controls to develop production-grade robotic platforms capable of operating in complex and dynamic environments.
This is an opportunity to work on challenging robotics problems where research meets real-world deployment, while taking significant ownership of technical decisions and high-impact engineering initiatives.
What youll do
You will build and improve the core autonomy capabilities that enable robots to perceive, plan, navigate, and operate safely and efficiently in real-world environments.
You will collaborate closely with perception, controls, hardware, and AI engineers to turn advanced robotics concepts into reliable, scalable products.
What were looking for
- 5+ years of experience developing autonomous robotic systems.
- Strong proficiency in up-to-date C++ and working knowledge of Python.
- Extensive experience with ROS2/ROS and Linux-based robotics development.
- Strong understanding of navigation, motion planning, localization, SLAM/VSLAM, sensor fusion, manipulation, or robot controls.
- Experience working with robot simulation platforms such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
- Ability to integrate and work with multiple robotic sensors, including cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GPS, and wheel encoders.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and collaborating with AI, perception, controls, and hardware teams.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; IIT/NIT/BITS preferred.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade robot autonomy software using modern C++ and Python.
- Build and optimize navigation, localization, motion planning, and robot control systems for autonomous robotic platforms.
- Develop scalable ROS2-based software architecture and integrate multiple sensors, including cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GPS, and wheel encoders.
- Develop and optimize SLAM, mapping, sensor fusion, path planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms for dynamic environments.
- Build simulation, visualization, debugging, and introspection tools using platforms such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or equivalent.
- Collaborate with perception, controls, hardware, and AI teams to take robotics solutions from concept and research through production deployment.
Must Have
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing autonomous robotic systems for industrial, warehouse, mobile robotics, or Physical AI applications.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; IIT/NIT/BITS preferred.
- Solid proficiency in modern C++, with working knowledge of Python.
- Extensive experience with ROS2/ROS, robotic software architecture, and Linux-based development environments.
- Strong expertise in one or more areas including navigation, motion planning, SLAM/VSLAM, localization, sensor fusion, manipulation, or robot controls.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently own technical deliverables in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with motion-planning frameworks such as MoveIt, OMPL, TEB, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AI/ML and Deep Learning frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or other robotic simulation platforms.
- Experience integrating and working with multi-sensor robotic systems and real-world perception devices.
- Experience taking robotics algorithms from research or prototypes into reliable production systems.
- Experience or strong interest in Physical AI, autonomous systems, robotic manipulation, and emerging robotics technologies.
