We are looking for a skilled Senior Operator - Filament Manufacturing to operate, monitor, and maintain filament extrusion lines used for manufacturing high-quality 3D printing filaments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in extrusion processes, machine setup, quality control, troubleshooting, and production monitoring.

What youll do

- Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor filament extrusion machines to achieve production targets.

- Perform machine setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers for different filament materials and colors.

- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, line speed, cooling, and winding.

- Ensure consistent filament diameter, roundness, and surface finish as per quality standards.

- Conduct regular quality checks using measuring instruments like laser gauges, micrometers, and calipers.

- Troubleshoot machine and process-related issues to minimize downtime.

- Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Maintain production records, batch reports, and machine logbooks.

- Ensure proper handling and drying of raw materials before production.

- Follow SOPs,



5S, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.

- Train and guide junior operators in machine operation and best practices.

- Minimize material wastage and improve machine efficiency.

- Hands-on experience with filament extrusion machines.

- Knowledge of extrusion process parameters and process optimization.

- Understanding of polymers such as PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, Nylon, and other engineering plastics.

- Knowledge of filament winding and spooling systems.

- Ability to troubleshoot extrusion line issues.

- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measurement techniques.

- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance.

- Valuable communication and team coordination skills.
