Responsibilities
- Administer and support the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, Design Center, and Access Management.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Flex Gateway deployments for API traffic management and policy enforcement.
- Own end-to-end partner/client onboarding onto the API Management platform.
- Drive API life cycle management and API Governance - versioning, policy enforcement, deprecation, and standards compliance across the API catalog.
- SnapLogic-based integration flows and containerized (Kubernetes) deployments support (nice-to-have).
- Act as the primary client-facing point of contact for partner onboarding queries, escalations, and status updates, translating technical detail into explicit business communication.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and back-end API/engineering teams to scope onboarding requirements, resolve blockers, and ensure smooth go-lives.
- Manage platform operations via ServiceNow - including Incident, Change, and Release Management for onboarding-related tickets, RITMs, and SCTasks.
- Monitor integration health and transaction traceability using observability tools such as New Relic or the ELK stack; proactively identify and resolve performance or reliability issues.
- Support CI/CD-based deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and maintain version control discipline using Git for integration assets and configurations.
- Contribute to server/platform management activities - patching, installation, and deployment support - as needed (nice-to-have).
Must-Have Skills
- Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and Design Center.
- Strong working knowledge of Access Management and Flex Gateway configuration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of API life cycle management and API Governance frameworks and best practices.
- Practical experience with ServiceNow operations - Incident, Change, and Release Management.
- Hands-on exposure to observability/monitoring tools such as New Relic, ELK stack, or equivalent.
- Excellent client-facing and business-management skills, with the ability to manage partner relationships and cross-functional stakeholders confidently.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with both business teams and back-end API/engineering teams.
Positive-to-Have Skills
- Server management skills - patching, installation, and deployment (infrastructure/platform administration).
- Experience with SnapLogic integration pipelines.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container platforms.
- Proficiency with Git for version control and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins.
- MuleSoft certification(s) - e.g., MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or Integration Architect - strongly preferred.
