Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy & Planning

- Develop and execute procurement strategies for solar EPC projects
- Source solar components such as modules, inverters, structures, and BOS materials
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance

1. Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors (domestic & international)
- Maintain solid supplier relationships for timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and audits

1. Contract & Negotiation

- Lead price negotiations and finalize procurement contracts
- Coordinate with legal teams for contract drafting and compliance
- Manage contract execution and resolve disputes if any

1. Cost Optimization & Budgeting

- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost control
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without impacting quality
- Track price fluctuations and recommend strategic sourcing decisions

1. Inventory & Logistics

- Ensure optimum inventory levels for smooth project execution
- Coordinate logistics for timely material delivery to project sites
- Improve supply chain efficiency and tracking systems

1. Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with engineering, project, and QA teams




- Align procurement schedules with project timelines
- Support project execution with timely material availability

1. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all materials meet technical and quality standards
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and safety norms
- Address quality issues with suppliers

1. Team Handling

- Manage and guide procurement team members
- Set targets and monitor performance
- Support training and development of team

1. Risk Management

- Identify procurement and supply chain risks
- Develop mitigation strategies and backup sourcing plans
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (MBA / PG in Supply Chain preferred)
- 9–12 years of experience in Procurement (Solar EPC preferred)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of solar components and supply chain
- Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in handling large-scale procurement
