Brief About The Role/ Team/ Candidate Requirement The Manager of Emergency Response Management reports to the Lead of the airline's Emergency Response Program, supports strategy, compliance, and cross-functional readiness for aircraft accidents, responsible incidents, and operational crisis situations. Supports the Emergency Response Teams, supports drafting emergency policy, and represents the airline with regulators, industry bodies, and codeshare partners on emergency preparedness matters in the absence of the lead emergency response manager.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Educational Requirements

- Graduate
- Crisis/Disaster Management certification strongly preferred

Experience

- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience working directly in emergency response planning and management.
- Preferred candidate: experience in airline ER / from Defense forces (Indian Army, NDRF and SDRF) having experience in disaster and salvage operations

Job responsibility

- Manages cross-departmental team and acts as liaison between departments to ensure emergency response preparedness and compliance
- Directs the research, review,



and evaluation of external source materials regarding airline emergency operations/assistance programs
- Ensure emergency operations and assistance programs are integrated with Domestic, Regional, International and code share companies' programs and procedures
- Directs the development and operation of the emergency response team.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training to ensure employees company-wide are receiving appropriate training to maintain readiness.
- Ensures emergency preparedness of every department, including airports and directs evaluation of emergency preparedness plans.
- Manages the Go Team credit card program and all assets of the Emergency Plan.
- Develops and updates the Company’s Emergency Response Manual.
- Develops and schedules company-wide emergency response Exercise s, manifest reconciliation Exercise s, and other ancillary Exercise s periodically to test the readiness and dependability of the Emergency Response Plan.
- Evaluate Exercise performance and submit Exercise Report with corrective action plans.
- Develop quick-reference guides, flowcharts, and SOPs for emergency use.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of all drills, training sessions, and emergency activations.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure the readiness of emergency assets such as Go Kit, Command Center, and contact databases.
- Develops and manages the department budget.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Company’s GO Team and Family Assistance Team.
