Role Purpose: Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure and plays a key role in troubleshooting complex issues, executing network projects, and driving operational excellence. This role focuses on ensuring network reliability, performance, and security while supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages day-to-day network operations, including monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.

Performs structured troubleshooting, problem management, RCA, performance optimization and escalations handling.

Assists in design and implementation of scalable and secure network solutions.

Supports network upgrades, migrations, patching, software upgrades, capacity management and resilience improvements.

Implements network security controls, ACLs, firewall policies, zero trust segmentation and access governance.

Ensures end-to-end network observability, monitoring integration and proactive detection of performance degradation.





Maintain accurate and up-to-date network change documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures to support knowledge management and team continuity.

Guide junior engineers in the routine tasks and support escalations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Network availability and performance SLA adherence

MTTR incident resolution effectiveness

Network change success rate

Network optimization gain metrics (latency, throughput, packet loss reduction)

Control / policy compliance and standardization adoption

Reduction in repeat network incidents
