About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our energetic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that underpin our core business applications.

Your expertise will ensure the integrity, security, and performance of our data infrastructure, enabling the organization to make informed decisions and deliver superior services to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to database management and optimization.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience in MySQL database architecture and administration is essential.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and managing database objects such as stored procedures, functions, and triggers.



A solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, indexing, and security practices is required. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, along with good analytical and troubleshooting skills, will be highly advantageous.

Certifications related to database management or cloud services are a plus.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and associated database objects to support business applications and data workflows.
- Create, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

- Collaborate with software developers and application teams to facilitate seamless database integration and deployment.
- Assist with database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Document database structures, configurations, and processes to maintain comprehensive technical records.
- Implement and enforce database security protocols, including user access management and audit logging.
