Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Speech Therapist role located in Jammu.

The Speech

Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include delivering therapy sessions, monitoring progress, adjusting interventions, and documenting clinical notes in line with professional standards. The role involves working with individuals experiencing dysphagia and other complex communication needs, providing education and guidance to families and caregivers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care.

The therapist is expected to participate in case discussions, maintain accurate records,



and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the service.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment and intervention for a range of speech difficulties.
- Experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders across different age groups.
- Knowledge and practical competence in managing Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders.
- Recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent, with relevant professional registration/licensure where applicable.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Robust ethical judgment, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to non-discriminatory, person-centered care.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training activities.
