Company Description Nutrimindcare is a mental health support and therapy service platform based in Tripunithura, Kochi, dedicated to comprehensive care for children, adolescents, and adults. The center offers a wide range of services including behavioral assessment, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, as well as autism spectrum disorder and ADHD screening.

Nutrimindcare provides school readiness programs, learning disability and IQ testing, aptitude testing, and psychometric assessments to support academic and personal development. The team also delivers child and parent counseling, adult and adolescence counseling, family and marriage counseling, remedial training, and career guidance, creating an integrated environment for holistic mental health and educational support.

Role Description The Special Education Teacher role at Nutrimindcare is a full time, on-site position located in Kochi. The teacher will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for learners with diverse disabilities and learning needs, aligning goals with assessments and therapeutic recommendations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include adapting curriculum and instructional strategies, delivering targeted lessons, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role involves close collaboration with therapists, counselors, families,



and school staff to ensure coordinated support and effective intervention. The teacher will also participate in case discussions, contribute to school readiness and remedial programs, and support inclusive practices across educational settings.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of various disabilities and learning challenges, and experience working with learners who require individualized support.
- Proficiency in teaching methodologies and classroom management, ideally with experience at the primary or middle school level.
- Formal training or experience in Special Education, including IEP development, curriculum adaptation, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, learners, and families in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications in special education or remedial teaching are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple cases, maintain detailed records, and use basic digital tools for planning and documentation.
- Prior experience in clinical, school, or therapy-based settings and familiarity with assessments for learning disabilities, autism, and ADHD is an advantage.
