We are looking for a SolidWorks Design Engineer / CAD Designer with strong experience in 2D & 3D mechanical drawings to join our engineering team.

The candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed machine components, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, while working closely with the production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models, assemblies and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
- Prepare drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications and BOMs.
- Modify existing machine designs and drawings as per engineering requirements.
- Develop drawings for machine components, fabricated structures and assemblies.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable.
- Review drawings and make necessary corrections based on shop-floor requirements.
- Maintain and organize CAD drawings, revisions and engineering documentation.
- Assist in developing and improving existing machine designs.

Requirements




- Proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of mechanical drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits and material specifications will be an advantage.
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in mechanical design/CAD; freshers with strong SolidWorks skills may also apply.
