Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solar Design Engineer with strong expertise in utility-scale MW solar PV projects. The candidate will be responsible for the complete engineering and design of solar power projects.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing the complete electrical and technical design of MW-scale solar PV plants.

Key Responsibilities

Solar PV Plant Design – End to End

- Develop complete designs for utility-scale solar PV projects ranging from MW to large-scale capacities.
- Prepare and review the overall Solar PV Plant Layout considering site conditions, topography, land availability, shading, access roads and drainage.
- Prepare and review: Single Line Diagrams (SLD), DC and AC cable sizing, String sizing and configuration, DC/AC ratio calculations, Inverter sizing and configuration, Transformer sizing, HT/LT system design, Earthing and lightning protection design, Cable routing and trench layouts, Protection and metering schemes, Auxiliary power systems, SCADA and communication architecture
- Prepare equipment technical specifications and datasheets.
- Perform voltage drop, short-circuit, fault level and other relevant electrical calculations.
- Review topographical surveys and incorporate site constraints into the plant design.
- Prepare, review and maintain complete engineering documentation, including:

Detailed Engineering Drawings, SLDs,



Plant Layouts, Cable Schedule, String Layouts, Earthing Layouts, Lightning Protection Layouts, BOQ / BOM, Technical Specifications, Datasheets, Calculation Sheets, As-built drawings, Design basis documents

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Renewable Energy Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in solar PV design and engineering.
- Proven experience in utility-scale MW solar PV projects.
- Solid knowledge of complete solar PV plant design and electrical engineering.
- Experience in designing projects from concept/design stage through detailed engineering and execution.

Experience with Helioscope, ETAP, PVSOL, GIS/Google Earth, or other relevant engineering/design software will be an added advantage. Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
