We are looking for a Manual Software Tester with 1–3 years of experience to join our software development team. The candidate will be responsible for testing web applications, mobile applications, and software modules to ensure functionality, usability, performance, and overall product quality.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of manual testing processes, test case preparation, bug reporting, regression testing, and functional testing and should be comfortable working closely with developers and business analysts.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand project requirements, business workflows, and functional specifications.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
- Perform functional, UI, usability, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Test web applications and mobile applications across different browsers/devices.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Clearly communicate defects with proper steps to reproduce, screenshots, and supporting details.
- Perform retesting after bugs are fixed and conduct regression testing.
- Verify application workflows against business requirements.
- Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, UI/UX designers, and project teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement discussions and identify potential functional gaps.
- Maintain testing documentation and provide testing status reports.
- Ensure assigned modules meet quality standards before release.

Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Manual Software Testing / QA.




- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of different software testing types and methodologies.
- Experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.
- Good knowledge of Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
- Experience in Bug/Defect Reporting and Tracking.
- Basic understanding of API testing is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is an advantage.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zoho Projects, Trello, or similar project/bug-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of Postman or API testing.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience testing ERP, CRM, HRMS, SaaS, or other business applications will be an advantage.
