About the Role

Heapvue is hiring a Software Development Engineer Trainee to work on real-world software, infrastructure, deployments, and client projects.

You will contribute across frontend, backend, DevOps, cloud, and production support while working closely with the engineering and founding teams.

Responsibilities

- Build frontend applications using React, Next.js, or Vite
- Develop backend services and REST APIs using Golang
- Work with databases and third-party integrations
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Use Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or DigitalOcean
- Work with Linux, DNS, SSL/TLS, and production environments
- Troubleshoot deployment and application issues
- Support client deployments and go-live activities
- Contribute to technical discussions and feature ownership

Required Skills

- React, Next.js, or Vite
- JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

- Strong Golang fundamentals
- REST APIs and database fundamentals
- Linux, Git, Docker, and CI/CD

- Basic cloud deployment knowledge
- HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, and networking
- Debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

- PostgreSQL,



Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform
- gRPC, NATS, or microservices

- Cloud architecture

- AI/ML integrations
- Cybersecurity or open-source experience

Qualification No strict degree requirement. We value practical skills, projects, programming fundamentals, problem-solving, and ownership.
