About the Role

You're a Go engineer on a data-heavy, AI-integrated platform. High-volume data comes in through event pipelines, gets modelled for both transactional and analytical use, runs through LLM-powered analysis, and comes out in a data-dense product UI, all on AWS. Go is the primary language; Python is secondary.

You'll ship real parts of the platform from early on, with senior engineers reviewing design and code. Your scope grows as you deliver. Explicit communication, including flagging problems early, is part of the job.

What You'll Work With

- Primary backend: Go (Gin, GORM, pgx, job queues)
- Secondary backend: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic v2, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, async)
- Data and messaging: Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, S3
- AI/NLP: OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs with structured outputs, grounding, and evaluation; sentiment analysis and high-performance regex for compliance pattern matching
- Frontend: React 18 + TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, MUI (data grids, charts)
- Infra: Docker, Kubernetes via Helm on EKS, ECR, GitLab CI,



dev to staging to UAT to prod, OpenTelemetry and structured logging
- Quality: Go test suites and containerized integration tests; pytest, ruff, and mypy on the Python side; ESLint

Responsibilities

- Build Go services and APIs from agreed designs through to production
- Implement ingestion paths, event-driven workers, and LLM integrations with proper guardrails
- Write schema changes, migrations, and queries that hold up as data grows
- Write tests, ship through CI, and follow your changes after they land
- Add instrumentation, debug production issues, and fix what breaks
- Pick up Python and frontend tasks when the work needs it

Required

- 1.5+ years of professional backend development, with Go in production (e.g. Gin, Echo, net/http)
- Go fundamentals: goroutines, channels, context, error handling, testing
- PostgreSQL or a similar relational database: schema design, migrations, indexing

Strong Plus

- Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or another message queue
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- LLM API integration in a product or project (e.g. OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, structured outputs, RAG)
- Working knowledge of Python (e.g. FastAPI)
- React and TypeScript
- Based in or near Gurugram, or able to visit the client site a few times a month
