Role Description The Software Developer Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and fixing issues, and assisting with back-end web development tasks under the guidance of senior developers.

The intern will collaborate with team members on project requirements, participate in code reviews,



and contribute to documentation for features and fixes. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software engineering, using version control tools, and following agile or iterative development processes. This position is designed to help interns build practical experience, expand their technical skill set, and prepare for professional software development roles.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering concepts.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming with at least one modern language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in real-world projects.
- Exposure to Back-End Web Development, such as working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic understanding of agile or iterative development methods is an advantage.
