Data Analytics Architect - Snowflake AWS

Experience: 12+ years overall, with 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Architect who can lead data modernization, cloud analytics, data strategy, and AI/GenAI initiatives. The person should have strong experience in Snowflake, AWS, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Analytics, and AI/GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy Architecture

- Create the companys data strategy and roadmap.
- Design modern data platforms using Snowflake and AWS.
- Set up data governance, security, metadata, and data quality processes.
- Lead migration from old/legacy data platforms to modern cloud platforms.

2. Snowflake

- Design and manage scalable Snowflake architecture.
- Improve Snowflake performance and optimize storage and workloads.
- Implement RBAC, data masking, secure data sharing, and governance.
- Work on Snowflake cost optimization / FinOps.

3. AWS Data Engineering

- Build data pipelines using AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
- Design both batch and real-time data ingestion.
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Follow CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.

4. Analytics BI

- Develop analytics frameworks and define business KPIs.
- Enable self-service reporting using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Understand business requirements and convert them into data/analytics solutions.
- Promote data democratization across the organization.





5. AI / GenAI

- Build and support AI/GenAI solutions using Snowflake Cortex, LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
- Enable Natural Language to SQL (NL2SQL) and AI-powered analytics.
- Implement AI governance, security, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
- Work with Data Science and business teams to identify helpful AI use cases.

6. Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with business leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Conduct architecture discussions, workshops, and solution design sessions.
- Guide and mentor data engineering teams.
- Define and maintain technical best practices.
