Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring projects are executed according to design, quality, and safety standards. This role includes monitoring site progress, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and resolving technical issues related to civil works such as foundations, structures, and utilities.

Engineer will review drawings and specifications, assist in planning and scheduling, and ensure compliance with local regulations and codes.



Daily responsibilities include site inspections, documentation of work done, reporting to project managers, and supporting cost, time, and quality control. The role also involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design for residential and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess practical experience working as Civil Engineers, including site supervision and project execution.
- Candidates should possess Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of construction activities.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in building construction or real estate development, preferably in residential projects.
- Familiarity with construction codes, standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and site safety.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Chennai and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project workplace.
