Key Responsibilities

Shopify Development & Website Management

- Develop, customize and maintain the company's Shopify e-commerce website.
- Customize Shopify themes, pages, navigation, menus, collections and product layouts.
- Improve website UI/UX and ensure a smooth customer shopping experience.
- Ensure the website is responsive and works properly across desktop and mobile devices.
- Identify and resolve website errors, bugs and technical issues.
- Continuously improve website performance, usability and functionality.

Product & Catalogue Management
- Upload and maintain products, product descriptions, images, specifications and pricing.
- Organize products into appropriate categories, sub-categories, collections and brands.
- Manage product variants, SKUs, inventory and product attributes.
- Maintain accurate technical information for construction chemicals and building materials.
- Coordinate with the internal team for product information, images, pricing and availability.
- Ensure the catalogue remains accurate and updated.

Shopify Apps & Integrations
- Install, configure and manage Shopify apps according to business requirements.
- Work on integrations such as:

- Payment gateways

- Shipping and logistics

- WhatsApp / communication tools

- CRM

- Inventory management

- Accounting / billing systems

- Marketing and analytics tools
- Understand and manage Shopify API / third-party integrations where required.
- Coordinate with external developers or service providers for advanced integrations.

E-commerce Operations
- Monitor website functionality and customer purchase flow.
- Assist in managing orders, cancellations, returns and customer-related website issues.




- Monitor inventory and product availability.
- Assist in implementing promotional offers, discounts and campaigns.
- Track website performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the management team to introduce new features and improve the online buying experience.

SEO & Digital Growth
- Implement basic on-page SEO for products and collections.
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, URLs, meta titles and meta descriptions.
- Assist with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Monitor website traffic, product performance and customer behaviour.
- Support digital marketing initiatives and online promotions.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Shopify.
- Good understanding of Shopify Admin and Shopify Store Management.
- Knowledge of Shopify theme customization.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid will be an advantage.
- Experience with Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Positive understanding of e-commerce website structure.
- Experience in product catalogue management.
- Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 13 years of experience in Shopify / E-commerce / Web Development.




- Candidates who have independently managed or developed a Shopify store will be preferred.
- Experience in construction materials, hardware, building materials, industrial products or B2B/B2C e-commerce will be an added advantage.
- Should have a practical and hands-on approach.
- Should be capable of working independently and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Should be willing to learn new Shopify applications, integrations and e-commerce technologies.
- Candidates should provide links to Shopify/e-commerce websites they have developed or managed.
