Role Description

This is an on-site Shopify design role in Kozhikode, starting with a two-month internship and moving to full-time on satisfactory completion. We are building our online store ahead of launch and need someone to design and build the pages. You will work on product pages, collection pages, and the homepage: designing the layout, then editing theme files directly to make it happen.

We have a defined design system with fixed colours, typefaces, and layout rules, so the visual direction is set. Your job is to build it properly. You will work directly with the founder.

What you will work on

- Design and build product and collection pages in Shopify.
- Edit theme files directly: Liquid templates, sections, and CSS.
- Make sure everything works on mobile, not just desktop.




- Set up merchandising: collections, product media, and navigation.
- Keep the storefront consistent with our design system.

Qualifications

- Currently in your final year, or recently graduated, in any field. Design, computer science, or web development is practical.
- You have built or customised a Shopify store, even a practice one.
- Comfortable with HTML and CSS. Liquid can be learned, but you should not be afraid of code.
- Can follow a defined design system precisely rather than working around it.
- Careful. You will be working on a live commercial store, so you check before you publish.
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster.
- Bring a store or site you have built.
