About the Role

Vellplast is looking for an experienced Shift Manager to look after the day-to-day working of the rMMA manufacturing plant. The person will be responsible for running the shift smoothly, managing the team and ensuring production is carried out safely and as planned.

Main Responsibilities

Handle the day-to-day plant operations during the assigned shift.

Manage operators and other shift staff and ensure proper allocation of work.

Ensure production targets and quality requirements are met.

Keep a check on plant equipment and coordinate with maintenance whenever required.

Ensure proper safety, housekeeping and discipline on the shop floor.





Maintain basic shift records and report production or operational issues to the management.

Take ownership of problems during the shift and ensure timely resolution.

Who We Are Looking For

Diploma / Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related field is preferred, but not compulsory.

Positive hands-on experience in plant operations and handling shifts will be given importance.

Around 3–7 years of experience in a chemical, recycling or similar manufacturing setup.

Should be comfortable working on the shop floor and managing people.

Practical, responsible and able to take decisions during the shift.

- Willing to work in rotational shifts.
