Role Description The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the vehicle service department. The role includes managing service schedules, supervising technicians and service advisors, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of repair and maintenance work.

The Service

Manager monitors service quality, handles customer inquiries and escalations, and works to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities also include managing workshop workflow, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The role requires coordination with parts, sales, and administration teams,



maintaining service records, tracking performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to achieve departmental targets.

Qualifications

- Strong service operations management skills, including workshop coordination, team supervision, and workflow planning.
- Proficiency in customer service, communication, and conflict resolution to handle diverse customer needs and escalations.
- Ability to analyze service data, track key performance indicators, and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and service best practices; prior experience in an automobile dealership or service center is preferred.
- Comfort with using service management software, basic office tools, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams, train staff, and foster a cooperative, safety-focused work culture.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pune City and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
