Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time job based in India.

1. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of equipment at client locations, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
2. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing troubleshooting, providing on-site technical support, and documenting service activities and reports.
3. The role involves coordinating with clients and internal teams, explaining technical findings in clear language, and following safety and quality standards.
4. The Service Engineer will also support preventive maintenance programs,



assist in training users on proper equipment operation, and travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and vendors, and to prepare explicit service documentation.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical or electrical systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments.
- Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and use of service management tools.
- Prior experience in a service or maintenance role in manufacturing, utilities, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
