Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The individual in this role will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining pharmaceutical production and packaging equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable operations. Day-to-day activities include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing on-the-spot technical support to production teams.

The Service

Engineer will undertake field service visits within the facility or to partner locations as needed,



documenting service activities and preparing detailed reports. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with vendors for spare parts and upgrades, and adhering to all safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues.
- Experience in field service, including in office support, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
- Technical support capabilities, including responding to breakdowns, guiding operational staff, and documenting solutions.
- Hands-on maintenance and repair skills for production machinery, utilities, and related systems.
- Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or process manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of GMP, safety protocols, and quality standards in manufacturing settings.
- Ability to work in shifts or extended hours when required to support critical operations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting, documentation, and maintenance records.
