Role Description As a Senior User Interface Designer at Superfan.ng, you will lead the design of intuitive, visually compelling interfaces for the Superfan app and related digital experiences. This full-time remote role involves collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and developers to translate user needs and product requirements into high-fidelity screens, interactive prototypes, and design systems.

You will define and maintain visual standards, create mockups and design specifications, and ensure consistent implementation across platforms. Day-to-day, you will refine user flows, conduct design reviews, iterate based on feedback and data, and advocate for accessible,



inclusive design practices that resonate with African and diaspora audiences.

Qualifications

- Strong User Interface Design and Visual Design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating mobile and web interfaces.
- Experience creating detailed Mockups and interactive prototypes using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.
- Practical knowledge of Front-End Development concepts (e.g., responsive layouts, component-based design) to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Ability to develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
- Experience designing for culturally diverse audiences; familiarity with African languages or cultures is an advantage.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional teams.
- Several years of professional UI/UX design experience, ideally in consumer-facing digital products or edtech; relevant degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
