About the Role

You're a senior Go engineer on a data-heavy, AI-integrated platform. High-volume data comes in through event pipelines, gets modelled for both transactional and analytical use, runs through LLM-powered analysis, and comes out in a data-dense product UI, all on AWS. Go is the primary language; Python is secondary.

This is not a features-in-someone-else's-codebase role. You take a slice of the platform, design it, build it, ship it, and keep it healthy. Clear communication on technical trade-offs is part of the job.

What You'll Work With

- Primary backend: Go (Gin, GORM, pgx, job queues)
- Secondary backend: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic v2, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, async)
- Data and messaging: Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, S3
- AI/NLP: OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs with structured outputs, grounding, and evaluation; sentiment analysis and high-performance regex for compliance pattern matching
- Frontend: React 18 + TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, MUI (data grids, charts)
- Infra: Docker, Kubernetes via Helm on EKS, ECR, GitLab CI, dev to staging to UAT to prod, OpenTelemetry and structured logging
- Quality: Go test suites and containerized integration tests; pytest, ruff, and mypy on the Python side; ESLint





Responsibilities

- Turn requirements into service design, then build and ship it in Go
- Build high-volume ingestion, event-driven workers, and LLM integration with proper guardrails
- Design schemas and data models that hold up as data grows
- Own your deployments end to end, including CI, migrations, and what happens after they land
- Instrument the platform, watch it, and fix it when it breaks
- Work across the stack when the work demands it, including Python services and the frontend

Required

- 3+ years owning production systems, with Go as your primary language: concurrency (goroutines, channels, context), profiling (pprof), testing
- Multi-service, event-driven design: APIs, queues, idempotency, Kafka or comparable (consumers, partitioning, replay, backpressure)
- Data modelling at volume: schema design, migrations, query performance, retention (PostgreSQL or similar)
- LLMs in a shipped product (structured outputs, grounding, evaluation), not a one-off API call
- Taking your own systems to production: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability
- Enough React and TypeScript to build and debug a data-dense UI

Strong Plus

- Working knowledge of Python (FastAPI, Pydantic v2, SQLAlchemy, async)
- ClickHouse or another columnar store at volume
- Document and PDF extraction, file ingestion, multi-language text handling
- Audit logging, RBAC, PII masking, DPDPA or GDPR
- Based in or near Gurugram, or able to visit the client site a few times a month
