Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a solid background in software development and a deep understanding of Service Now. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance our Service Now platform, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement software applications on the Service Now platform to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Perform system configuration, customization, and integration of Service Now modules.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Service Now and software development methodologies.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong expertise in Service Now platform, including development, configuration, and administration.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services for integration purposes.




- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience in developing custom applications and workflows within Service Now.
- Certifications related to Service Now or software development are a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful software development projects.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
