About Wedraw Wedraw is a Architectural drafting and detailing company supporting Clients around the world with professional drafting and documentation services for residential and commercial millwork projects.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Millwork Drafter who understands millwork beyond simply operating AutoCAD and can independently convert architectural and design information into accurate, detailed, and fabrication-ready drawings.

What You Will Do

- Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings and fabrication/production drawings using AutoCAD.
- Work on both residential and commercial millwork projects for U.S. and Canadian clients.
- Detail custom cabinetry, casework, countertops, built-ins, and architectural millwork.
- Prepare and interpret plans, elevations, sections, details, floor drawings, and tile drawings as required.
- Read and understand architectural drawings, specifications, design intent, and construction documents.
- Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, completeness, and fabrication requirements.
- Handle revisions and client comments efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and deadlines.

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should have:

- 2–3+ years of qualified millwork drafting experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience preparing shop and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with both residential and commercial millwork.
- Experience with cabinetry, casework, countertops, and architectural millwork.
- Good understanding of millwork construction,



materials, hardware, joinery, and fabrication methods.
- Working knowledge of AWI standards.
- Experience working on U.S. and/or Canadian projects is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong drafting speed without compromising accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Most Importantly We are looking for someone who can think like a millwork professional, not just a CAD operator.

You should be able to understand how a piece of millwork is designed, constructed, fabricated, and installed, and translate that understanding into clear, accurate, production-ready drawings.
