Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior MIS Executive – Costing & Reconciliation to manage factory-level costing, purchase and sales reconciliation, stock analysis, and management reporting. The role will involve identifying costing, rate, billing, stock, and GP-related discrepancies and presenting clear findings to management for corrective action.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain product-wise manufacturing costing and cost analysis.

Reconcile purchase, production, stock consumption, sales, and wastage data.

Analyse raw material rates, consumption, yield, wastage, and production variances.

Track item-wise sales, billing, and gross profit (GP) across outlets.

Conduct regular purchase-sales-stock reconciliation, including detailed monitoring of the Howrah outlet.

Identify discrepancies in rates, billing, stock, costing, and margins and escalate them to management.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.

Extract and analyse data from Dataman/POS ERP and Tally, and work effectively with Google Sheets.

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts, Stores, and Outlet teams to verify data and close reconciliation gaps.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Candidate Profile

CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) preferred; candidates with strong manufacturing costing experience may also be considered.

Minimum 5 years of experience,



including 2–3 years specifically in manufacturing/FMCG/F&B; cost accounting.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, reconciliation, inventory, variance analysis, and GP analysis.

Excellent Google Sheets/Excel and MIS reporting skills.

Working knowledge of Tally and POS/ERP systems such as Dataman; experience with GoFrugal/RanceLab will be an advantage.

Solid analytical ability, attention to detail, follow-up skills, and ability to independently identify discrepancies.

Important: This is a tracking, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting role. The position does not independently make pricing or costing decisions but is responsible for accurately identifying and reporting issues to management. mpany Description

Role Description The Senior MIS Executive – Costing & Reconciliation is a full-time,



on-site role based in Kolkata. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to costing, sales, inventory, and production.

The position involves reconciling financial and operational data across systems, verifying cost allocations, and ensuring accuracy of records for management review. The executive will collaborate with finance, operations, and store teams to gather information, analyze variances, and support decision-making through clear dashboards and summaries. The role also includes identifying process improvements, maintaining documentation, and supporting audits and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Information Systems and Management Information Systems (MIS) skills to manage data, reports, and system workflows.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and MIS Reporting capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, and prepare accurate costing and reconciliation reports.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to management clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other spreadsheet or BI tools for data analysis, dashboards, and reconciliations.
- Relevant experience in costing, reconciliation, or MIS roles, preferably in FMCG, retail, food, or hospitality sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; qualified certifications in data or finance are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to work with large data sets, and a structured approach to documentation and process improvement.
