Responsible for the design, development, validation, and improvement of mechanical products, systems, and equipment. The role involves leading design projects, performing engineering calculations, creating detailed 3D models and drawings, supporting manufacturing activities, and ensuring designs meet functional, quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop innovative mechanical designs based on customer, project, and business requirements.

- Create and review 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.

- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and engineering evaluations.

- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, codes, and specifications.

- Lead mechanical design activities from concept through production release.

- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

- Coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues and design challenges.





- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.

- Work closely with production, quality, procurement, and maintenance teams.

- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issues.

- Prepare technical specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and engineering reports.

- Maintain engineering records and revision control.

- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD.

- Solid knowledge of machine design principles.

- Experience with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

- Knowledge of material selection and manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with SAP systems.

- Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and codes.
