- Strong phlebotomy and blood sample collection skills

- Knowledge of hematology, biochemistry, serology and routine pathology tests

- Ability to operate laboratory analyzers and diagnostic equipment

- Knowledge of CBC, LFT, KFT, lipid profile, blood sugar and urine analysis

- Good knowledge of sample labeling, processing, storage and rejection criteria

- Understanding of Internal Quality Control (IQC) and laboratory quality standards

- Ability to identify and immediately report critical laboratory values

- Knowledge of microscope handling and basic microscopy

- Experience in maintaining laboratory registers, reports and documentation

- Knowledge of reagent stock management, expiry monitoring and FEFO system

- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

- Knowledge of infection control, PPE and biomedical waste management

- Valuable computer skills and experience with HIS/LIS preferred

- Ability to work independently during emergency, ICU and night shifts

- Good communication, accuracy, discipline and attention to detail

Preferred: DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. MLT with hospital laboratory experience.
