Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Specialist to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, networks, security, and day-to-day technical operations on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling IT requirements and providing timely technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and hardware.
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor network performance, connectivity, and system availability.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, email systems, and software installations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Maintain data backup, recovery, antivirus, and security systems.
- Monitor and maintain firewalls, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, VPN, and network security.
- Ensure IT systems are secure and updated with necessary patches and upgrades.
- Coordinate with vendors and external IT service providers when required.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and system records.
- Support employees with technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT infrastructure, security, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Assist management with IT planning,



upgrades, and technology requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of Windows, networking, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, email administration, user management, and cloud applications.
- Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, data backup, and IT security.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing IT vendors and service providers.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage IT requirements with minimal supervision.
- Strong focus on security, reliability, and data protection.

Preferred

- Experience with Microsoft Azure / AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of IT asset management and monitoring tools.
- Experience in implementing IT security policies and best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CCNA, CompTIA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
