Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for leading the design process from initial client briefing through final project handover. This role involves developing concepts, preparing detailed design presentations, space plans, and material boards, and translating them into working drawings and specifications.

The Senior Interior

Designer will coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, conduct site visits, oversee execution quality, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Daily tasks include reviewing design documentation, mentoring junior designers, resolving design and site issues, and maintaining alignment with building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines. The position requires proactive communication, strong project ownership,



and regular collaboration with procurement and project management teams.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in interior design concept development, space planning, and detailing, with the ability to manage complex, multi-room or multi-site projects.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), along with basic competency in presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with materials and finishes selection, furniture and lighting design coordination, and preparation of BOQs and technical specifications.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, including scheduling, coordination with contractors and vendors, and on-site supervision.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, negotiation abilities, and capacity to lead design presentations and design reviews.
- Proven experience mentoring and guiding junior designers or interns and contributing to internal design standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Several years of relevant qualified experience in interior design, including leadership on residential, commercial, or institutional projects; experience in the Pune region or similar markets is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, safety norms, and sustainable design practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
