About the Role
Litrivis CPA PLLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Modelling & Transaction Advisory Analyst to support our FP&A;, CFO Advisory, M&A;, and transaction-related work for U.S.-based clients.
This is not a traditional FP&A; or accounting role.
We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience building complex financial models from scratch , ideally with a background in investment banking, M&A;, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, or advanced FP&A; with an understanding of accounting.
What You Will Work On
You will build, review, and improve sophisticated financial models, including:
Financial Modeling
- Integrated 3-statement and 24–36 month forecasting models
- 13-week cash flow and liquidity models
- Revenue, working capital, profitability, and scenario analysis
- Annual budgets and rolling forecasts
M&A; & Transaction Modelling
- M&A; / Acquisition and LBO models
- Purchase price, Sources & Uses, debt financing, and pro forma financials
- Earnouts, synergies, and post-close forecasting
- Accretion/dilution, IRR, MOIC, and transaction sensitivity analysis
- DCF and other valuation models
- Option/earnout valuation using Black-Scholes or similar methods
Advanced / Quantitative Modeling Experience with advanced valuation or financial mathematics is highly desirable, including:
Black-Scholes / option valuation
- Equity or option valuation
- Cap table and dilution modelling
- Scenario-based valuation
- Sensitivity analysis
- Complex financial assumptions and waterfall calculations
What We Are Looking For
Required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial modelling, investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, corporate development, strategic finance, or advanced FP&A;
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Proven ability to build complex financial models from scratch
- Solid understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow mechanics
- Strong understanding of M&A; and transaction modeling
- Strong knowledge of IRR, MOIC, valuation, debt financing, and cash flow
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and model integrity
- Ability to clearly explain model assumptions, outputs, and conclusions
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable using AI to build skills and optimise production.
Preferred Background Candidates with experience in Investment Banking, M&A;, Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, Valuation, Corporate Development, or Strategic Finance are strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in
- Microsoft Excel
- Financial statement modelling
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Debt schedules
- LLM modelling
- Model auditing and error checking
Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or financial/ERP systems is a plus .
What Success Looks Like
You should be able to take historical financials, raw data, business assumptions, and transaction terms and independently turn them into a professional, dynamic model that can support decisions by CEOs, CFOs, investors, lenders, buyers, and management teams.
We are looking for someone who understands why the model is being built, not simply how to populate an Excel template.
