EuroTech Maritime Academy is looking for experienced maritime professionals to join our academic team as Senior Faculty.
We are seeking qualified Master Mariners and Chief Engineers who are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of maritime professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theory and practical training for maritime students.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials and assessments.
- Ensure training complies with applicable maritime regulations and academic standards.
- Guide students in their academic and career development.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain training records.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic activities.
- Share practical knowledge and real-world maritime experience with students.
Required Qualifications Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Master Mariner with a valid or previously held Certificate of Competency; or
- Chief Engineer with a valid or previously held Certificate of Competency.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of maritime operations and industry practices.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Leadership and student-management abilities.
- Previous teaching or training experience will be an advantage.
- Retired maritime professionals meeting the qualification requirements are also welcome to apply.
