Role Summary

Production shift incharge will be responsible for managing production and maintenance activities of the AAC Plant. The role will ensure smooth plant operations, achievement of production targets, effective process control, optimum utilization of manpower and equipment, and adherence to quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production and maintenance operations of the AAC Plant.
- Ensure achievement of production targets as per planned schedules.
- Monitor and control the AAC production process to maintain consistent output and quality.
- Prepare and execute production plans based on business requirements.
- Monitor key process parameters and ensure effective process control.
- Coordinate with Quality team to maintain required product quality standards.
- Ensure proper functioning and availability of plant machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to reduce downtime.
- Manage manpower deployment across production and maintenance activities.
- Handle both company and contractual manpower effectively.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, SOPs, and plant operational standards.
- Monitor production efficiency, wastage, downtime, and overall plant performance.
- Prepare production and operational reports for management review.
- Drive process improvements to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.





Required Qualifications

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering.
- Candidates with relevant AAC Plant experience and technical qualifications may also be considered.

Experience & Industry Background

- 6-7 years of experience in AAC Plant operations.
- Strong experience in AAC production and/or maintenance operations.
- Hands-on understanding of AAC production processes and plant operations.
- Experience in production planning, process control, and production management.
- Experience in manpower management, including company and contractual manpower.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of AAC manufacturing processes and plant operations.
- Good understanding of production planning and process control.
- Robust production management and execution skills.
- Basic to strong understanding of AAC plant equipment and maintenance requirements.
- Good knowledge of quality control and quality parameters.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage production targets and plant operations effectively.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
