Job Purpose : -

- Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental practices across manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing, stores, maintenance and project activities.

- Monitor workplace hazards, enforce safety procedures, conduct inspections and risk assessments, support incident prevention and ensure compliance with applicable statutory and company EHS requirements.

Responsibility : -

- Ensure safe working practices across manufacturing and project activities.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe acts / conditions.

- Implement PTW, LOTO, Hot Work, Work at Height and Confined Space procedures.

- Conduct HIRA / JSA / Risk Assessments.

- Ensure PPE compliance and safe working conditions.

- Support incident / near-miss investigation and CAPA.

- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and emergency drills.

- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Projects, Quality and Stores for safety compliance.

- Maintain EHS records and documentation for audit readiness.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and company EHS requirements

- Conduct daily / periodic safety inspections of manufacturing, fabrication, welding, assembly and testing areas.

- Ensure safety compliance during Pressure Vessel, Process Equipment, Reactor, Heat Exchanger and Heavy Fabrication activities.

- Monitor welding, gas cutting, grinding, lifting, material handling, hydro testing and pressure testing safety.

- Implement PTW, LOTO, Hot Work, Height Work and Confined Space safety systems

- Monitor PPE, housekeeping, emergency exits and safe material storage.

- Ensure secure operation of cranes, lifting equipment, forklifts, welding equipment and gas cylinders.

- Conduct toolbox talks,



safety inductions and job-specific training.

- Conduct mock drills and support emergency preparedness activities.

- Investigate accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and track CAPA closure.

- Maintain inspection reports, permits, risk assessments, training records and incident documentation.

- Support statutory inspections, EHS audits and IMS documentation.

- Report critical safety risks, incidents and non-conformities to senior management.

Technical Skills : -

- Manufacturing Industry Safety Knowledge Mandatory

- Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Safety Mandatory / Preferred

- Process Equipment Manufacturing Safety

- Reactor Manufacturing Safety

- Heat Exchanger Manufacturing Safety

- Heavy Fabrication Industry Safety

- Fire & Emergency Safety

- PPE Management & Compliance

- Safety Audit & Workplace Inspection

QEHS Responsibilities : -

- Ensure compliance with company QEHS policies, procedures and applicable statutory requirements.

- Promote safe working practices and maintain a strong safety culture across the manufacturing facility.

- Ensure proper PPE compliance and safe working conditions for employees, contractors and visitors.

- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and compliance audits.

- Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation for audit readiness.

- Report accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and safety non-conformities to seniors.

- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed within defined timelines.

- Support emergency preparedness, fire prevention and emergency response activities.

- Participate in IMS implementation, internal audits and continual improvement initiatives.

- Ensure safety requirements are incorporated into manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance and project activities.
