About the Role

You will be the architect and hands-on owner of the electronics for a line of compact,

battery-powered devices, and your mandate is the device itself: make the smallest possible hardware that records the cleanest possible signal, and keep it robust enough to work every day at fleet scale.

That covers the full span from sensing to system. You will decide how the device senses, amplifies, digitizes, processes, and transmits data, and you will build, measure,

and revise the hardware yourself. Firmware and embedded proficiency are expected,

but they serve the goal; the job is a great device, not a codebase.

What You'll Do

- Define the electronics architecture of the device line: analog front end,
- processing, power, and wireless, and carry each generation from concept through working hardware.
- Drive miniaturization as a primary objective: progressively smaller and lighter form factors without giving up signal quality or battery life.
- Own signal quality end to end: low-noise analog design for microvolt-level signals, clean power and grounding, systematic noise characterization, and measurable signal-to-noise targets for every revision.
- Evaluate and select sensing components: prototype candidates, characterize impedance and noise at the bench, and define the sensing strategy for each device generation.
- Design and lay out the boards using circuit design software, build and bring up prototypes, and debug at the bench with proper instrumentation.
- Develop the embedded firmware that makes the device dependable: reliable multichannel real-time acquisition, wireless streaming, on-device storage, updates in the field, and battery-aware power management.
- Add on-device intelligence over time: signal quality monitoring,



filtering and feature extraction, and eventually machine learning inference on the device.
- Engineer for reliability: hardware that tolerates heat, transport, and repeated daily use, reports its own faults clearly, and can be produced consistently in small batches through contract manufacturers.
- Work closely with the R&D; lead on signal targets and with the mechanical engineer on integrating electronics into a compact, comfortable product.

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of experience designing electronics for products or advanced prototypes, with personal ownership of architecture, circuit design, layout,bring-up, and firmware.
- Demonstrated work with precision, low-level analog sensing and the measurement discipline that goes with it.
- Experience shrinking a design: compact layouts, versatile and rigid-flex construction, battery integration, and preparing hardware for manufacture.
- Solid embedded programming skills on modern wireless microcontrollers, including real-time data acquisition.
- A hands-on, measurement-driven working style: you build the thing, measure it, and let the data decide.

Nice to Have

- Wearables, hearables, medical devices, or similar body-worn products.
- On-device signal processing or machine learning.
- Exposure to compliance, safety, or manufacturing quality processes.
