As part of our Product Innovation, you’ll work alongside global product, engineering, and strategy teams to build intelligent, modular solutions that operate seamlessly across kiosks, mobile apps, IoT devices, and integrated systems.

Role

Independently deliver complex, cross-cutting features across our web, kiosk, and mobile front ends, mentor mid-level engineers, and own the quality of what you ship

Responsibilities

- Own front-end features end to end: design handoff, component build, API integration, tests, release, and the fixes that follow.
- Build and maintain the shared component library and design system behind the web app, kiosk screens, and mobile app.
- Turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive, accessible interfaces that hold up on kiosk touchscreens and small phones.
- Own client-side data flow: REST and GraphQL integration, caching, pagination, optimistic updates, and offline-tolerant behaviour.
- Handle every state a screen can reach: loading, empty, partial, expired, and error, and settle the payload contract with backend engineers.
- Diagnose production defects from error reports and session data: reproduce the issue, isolate the root cause rather than the symptom, ship the fix, and leave a regression test behind.
- Hold the performance budget: bundle size, render profiling, image and font loading, and smooth interaction on low-end kiosk hardware.
- Write unit, component, and end-to-end tests, and keep the suite fast and green in GitHub Actions behind lint and type-check gates.
- Instrument the front end with error tracking, product analytics,



and experiments, then act on what the numbers show.
- Review code and mentor mid-level engineers, holding the team to its typing, testing, and accessibility standards.
- Work with product and design from discovery: question unclear requirements, offer options, and estimate honestly.
- Support releases, triage front-end incidents on call, and write postmortems that lead to a concrete change.

Skills Required

- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Expert in React.js (hooks, context, component architecture, state management) and mobile app development with React Native / Expo.
- TypeScript or similar typed language, modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and accessibility.
- Frameworks: Next.js, Expo, Webpack, Redux Toolkit, React Query, and Storybook.
- Testing in React: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright, MSW mocking.
- Bug fixing: reproduce, root-cause with React DevTools, fix with a regression test.
- Git and GitHub Actions: build, test, lint, and deploy workflows with caching.
- Strong REST and GraphQL API design, versioning, and backwards-compatibility skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills on ambiguous, production-critical issues.
- Performance tuning: bundle size, render profiling, caching, and mobile responsiveness.
- Flexible across products; mentors engineers, reviews code, and picks up new stacks.
