Role Description The Senior Design Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the end-to-end design process for luxury furniture and interior spaces. This role involves translating client needs into compelling design concepts, developing detailed design plans, and overseeing the execution of projects from initial briefing through installation.

The Senior Design

Lead will manage design teams, coordinate with craftsmen and vendors, and ensure that all deliverables meet Aaqar’s standards for aesthetics, functionality, and quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include client consultations, design reviews,



CAD-based planning, material and finish selection, and close collaboration with project managers to keep timelines and budgets on track.

Qualifications

- Solid graphic design and visual communication skills, including the ability to create clear design presentations and mood boards.
- Proficiency in architecture-related design thinking and spatial planning, with experience in residential or luxury interiors.
- Hands-on expertise with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and graphics software for detailed furniture and interior drawings.
- Ability to conduct structured research on materials, trends, and user lifestyles to inform design decisions.
- Proven experience in leading design teams, mentoring designers, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas into actionable design solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience in luxury furniture or high-end residential interiors is strongly preferred.
